Thanks Matt. Hopefully its just a direct swap... but ill run some searches b4 bothering anyone. I also want to know if its possible to up the miles on the odo (its @ 150,xxx,xxx while my car is @ 170,xxx,xxx) to match mine.
I'm in LA now, doing research @ ucla. I dont know any roads conveniently under 1 hr away from here . |

are you talking about a mech drive speedo? I imagine you are, but I thought you could adjust the reading by messing with the VDO box mounted above the drivers side control arm. I have one if you want to buy it.

Yo, Nic... thats the problem: I dont know what i'm talking about! I have the stock odo, and pulled the 120mph off of a 77-79. From the searches I ran, I didnt see anything about VDO boxes. I haven't had time to really dive into this mini-project, but when I do and have better questions to ask, I'll post 'em. |
