Last year when I was looking for a car, I came across an E30 323i Baur that was in really sorry shape, but the thing that struck me was the colour. I've never seen it on another BMW and I haven't been able to find it listed as a BMW colour on any of the paint sites I've found. It had a tag under the bonnet calling it either "Alaskagrün" or "Arcticgrün". Did Baur mix up their own paints and make takes like the BMW tags for them, or did someone get creative with a laser printer? |

I remember it being a horrible bluish green, thought it was disgusting on the car, but lately I've been thinking it might look cool on a guitar.  |

Reviving a long dead thread.
I recently came across the colour Akaziengrün and I think this is the colour that I remember seeing, just in case anyone was interested. Apparently it was used on E32's and E28's in the mid 80's.
I've been trying to find a decent picture of it but I've only come up with this so far.
