I have just seen my first e21 of the year! this morning going north on the A21 at hurst green, I saw a very clean looking white 320, on an X plate. If this is anyones car then say hello!
This has given me a bit more energy to complete my 323, It is back on it's wheels now after having new rear subframe bushes. just waiting for the radiator to turn up from Germany and I will be all set!

I am the new owner, the bloke I bought it off didn't have the time to finish it, but the previuos owner had it for 18 years. In it's strip down we have discovered a few little nasty surprises, like the thermostat, which had no inner, which is why I have had to get a new radiator.
Fired it up today with the old rad on, and boy did it sound nice!

Still reasonably plentiful here in the States. We've got one next door - and a couple in our local sports car club.

I very rarley see any in the UK. So when I do I always take a piccy on my phone. Here's the last two the first is a 320/6 I saw on the M20 coming back from the chunnel. The second a Baur convertable I snapped in Sainsbury's Car Park, whilst on Holiday in Truro, Cornwall.

If you can get one for free, a nokia N70 has a brilliant camera on it. Much better than my old Motorola RAZR.

I couldn't believe my eyes today, on the A27 between Brighton and Arundle, I saw 2 e21's! a late (83) 316 in dark met blue and a 323i in gunmetal grey!
The car will be finished this weekend hopefully.
Time to add to the numbers of e21's on the road!

There's hardly any in Germany, less then in the UK I'd say.
I'm really sick to death of the enforced new car culture over here.
The only old cars, (not including the cossetted over pampered classics) I see here are quite a few W123 Mercs....usually 230Es- as that combination of engine size/non catalyst emission tax is just about bearable on an old car here

I will say THIS though, the workmanshipand cost, of bodywork ,mechanics and tyres/ tyre fitters etc etc is in a totally different league to the UK though....

I can't believe it. All this time I have been going on about never seeing an E21. I went to have a look at a house for my sister on the other side of town, half way between my Step-mums house and my Step-sisters house. Look what I found.

I think this guy must be related to me or something as he not only has an E21 but also a Commer Camper van, like the one I used to own. He also has an old Mini like the 19 I have owned. Spooky. I will try to find him when he is at home to get some more info.

Hi all... I had been complaining about not seeing any e21s in the UK too, but about a month ago I saw my first one (well aside from when I visited Marquis Rex ) which was a henna red 316 in Bath... unfortunately I didn't get a pic.

Maybe they're all being wheeled out for the summer!

I saw another one today at Mark Cross, it seems that someone is taunting me! It was an X plate 323i in met grey, driven by a rather elderly chap, should have followed him to see if he wanted to sell it

well living in the riverland of south australia i rarely see anything but holden commodore's, ford falcon's, toyota land cruiser's, and hyundai excel's but on a recent drive around town i spotted a black 323i which had a motorsport rear spoiler the same as mine and no front spoiler. i was most pleased to notice im not the only sports car (and not massive V8) lover in my area.

First one here for the year. There is one parked under a house on a main road up here, looks to be going through some sort of restoration as it has been stripped and is in the process of body work being carried out. Next time i get some time ill have to stop in and leave a card, only other e21 owner ive found in my area is a guy that owns a botched 323i convertible (done aftermarket) and a beat up 320i with more rust in it than good metal.
