Whog got a full drivers door lock system. Mine broke a spring. I need a complete one to figure how to fix it.

Who is hiding?

Have you thought of using the one from the passengers side. If at most it would be a mirror image of the broken one, at best it will be the exact same parts.

Good to see a reply, nothing from roadfly. If anyone has a drivers or passenger setup, i'd like one. I just need to figure what activating springs broke and get new ones in.

RD... would the fact that you can lock and then shut the passenger door, but have to use the key on the driver's side, have an effect on this? Thought I'd raise that, "just in case".

Yes it would if it was used as a replacement there. Eric said, "I need a complete one to figure how to fix it."

But since the original question was to look at a similar mechanism for reference of how it functions it would not matter.

I never said "take your passenger side lock and switch it out with your drivers side lock."

I can use a different one for reference. I need to track down a drivers side for the busted springs. Tired of being all ghetto and climbing through the pass side to get in the car

Eric, did you try that junked one @ Autobahnn Rennsport (Dan was posting for them on roadfly)? I recall the doors were functioning fine, so maybe the locks might work too. Heres their #:

I'll call and see if they have it. I worked all night so I was too sleepy to go there.
