I finally have my E21 335i on the road (Tricord ) and thought I'd share some photos.

I wanted to post this under "cars" but do not see a "new post" button.

Regards,
Reinier

I gotta disagree....The spoiler is cool but the car looks unbalanced without the rest of the body kit :/.

Anyway just a matter of choice.

Absolutely amazing! That is truly a thing of beauty. Is that a BMW colour?

The only problem is, being a 335i, you forgot the most important pictures that I'm sure most people here want to see. Where's the engine bay?!?!?

Awesome! It looks like new!
I can't wait to see it

Are you coming to the track day in Assen next month? I'll probably be there with the race 323i.

I'm planning to get back to work on the 323i S edition this summer. You finishing up before me is making me jealous

Is the radiator customed made? is it 18"x18" in dimension? copper based?

It is indeed a custom radiator made of copper. Not sure of the exact dimensions, but it fits inside the original radiator space without the need to modify the body of the car, and does a fantastic job at keeping the engine cool. Expensive part though…

I did all the mechanicals (engine, drivetrain)myself, as well as most of the welding on the body, but as for smoothening out the bodywork and painting, a good friend of mine did all that.

wow, truly a work of art!

what type of springs and dampers are you using?

I can't quite tell from the pictures- are the wheels BBS splits? What sizes?

I think the engine came from a 1979 635Csi.

The wheels are BBS RS replica's.

How fast it is? No idea yet, I'm taking it easy on the old girl for a while first.

By the way, you can add your car permanently to the registry here:

http://e21.tricord.be/members/index.php?action=registry-add

The way to get there is via "member page" in the menu.
