Hi,
I thought e36 would have motorised crank, but i found one manual crank on ebay. Anyone know if this could be used on e21 sunroof?

I wouldn't bother. I called BMW and they said when they stocked hand cranks they sold about one a day- so used ones are a bad idea unless they're practically free.
I can get you a brand new E21 crank from the dealer for $40 plus shipping. This is well below list!
I apologize if this is a forum violation, I just don't wanna see you get burned on a used part.
