OK, here's what's going on.
Early this year, I sold my baby, my 1982 320/2.7i to Mike Scheeberger of Northern Va. I had that car for 10+ years. This past weekend I sold my 1985 745i to Johnny Guest of Memphis,Tn. It would seem as though I'm clearing out of my BMW stock like an Enron Exec. Bad joke, but I'm a sixpack in. Anyways, I will remind all of my newest project.

A 1982 320iS. A previous 2 owner car which I have been admiring for 12+ years, moderately damaged and stripped for parts recently. I was able to buy the rolling chassis as you see. I have recently finished up my suspension setup for the new car:

Koni adjustable shocks/struts, H&R springs, Carroll Shelby 13x6 wheels, and Yoko Y-388 205/60/HR13 tires. Factory front and rear sways are in place, as well as Stainless brake lines. I have brand new vented calipers waiting on cross drilled rotors to be indstalled. The engine will be a 1.8 m10 with improved CR, cammed, mild head work, header, 2" exhaust, and a weber 38/38 DGES carb. If I can get in the neighborhood of 125-130 hp I will be extremely happy. I hope to have the majority of the prooject done by early fall, with just a few minor cosmetic ends to wrap up. I am looking forward to this car. In the meantime, I am driving an '86 325e with 350,000+ miles with a 5-speed missing 3rd and 4th gear just as motivation to finish this project!

Looks like it will be a nice project, and you know I am a sucker for red e21s.
