I'll just add the pics here. Total price with shipping to my door was a whopping 350 bucks.
Pretty rare wheels in the states. |

I saw your bimmerforums post, sounds like you've got it figured out!
7x15 front and 8x15 rear would be my ideal setup!

What a score you bastard Those are my track wheels!!!!
Anyway you can of course get shells from Kodiak for about $300.
I run 8" rears with a 6.5" back space and 225-50's and 7.5" front on a 5.5 back space and 215-50's. They fit within the OEM fenders. If you want to go larger you can figure the math (9" rear would be 5.5" backspace)

Pete,
Are all 30 bolt centers created equal? I mean to say are all RS 30 bolt 15" centers the same? So if I copy backspacing and front spacing that someone uses on my centers, I should end up with the exact same offset. right?
How close is the 5.5" front backspacing to the steering arm on the front strut? |

Hey Nic the fronts are a fingers width away (1/4 to 3/8ths) and just allow the wilwoods to fit. The rears are the same distance away from the rear trailing arm. I designed them that way getting shells from Kodiak.
Yep pretty much. The only variance maybe the thickness of the center from where the shells are mounted to the back face of the center section. If you measure yours I'll compare them to mine and you should be able to duplicate the set up.
The backspacing works out to about a 66 positive offset in the rear and a 38 positive in the front |

Powder coat both the shell and center "black chrome". I like that in wheels......whereas I hate any other color including chrome.
Where is this? is that $300 for each shell or for all of them? Where can I find Kodiak?
Who else makes shells and sells them separetly? |

Does anyone make a 2 piece where the center is also the outside rim/shell......so the 32 bolts arent visible?
Will these mess up the offset of the wheel if you mess around with the sizes of the shells?

I like the polished look. It's not chrome but polished aluminum. |

bling bling!!!!
Sorry... couldn't resist. Put those 15x9 or 10 on my e21 and it'll take 2 minutes to accelerate to 60mph, but never lose traction (unless someone spits on the road).
But your e21 w/ the frankenstien motor will undoubtedly benefit from the monster shoes. Should be a lot easier to clean than BBS style wheels, too. LOVE BBS style, but a SUPER PITA TO CLEAN!!!!!!! |

Of course...where are you going to find tires that fit a 15x10 wheel and have a low enough profile for an E21?
Didn't the group 5 cars use 16's in the front and 17's in the back or something? That might make it easier to utilize some huge wheels and find usable tires.

they used 19's in the rear originally, but most of the ones around now have 17's because the tires are NLA |

I took all these pics with my phone.
So now I'm looking for some parts. Center caps, maybe some different rim halves. Pipe up if you have some stuff. |
