My son just started at R.I.T. Even though he is a freshman he was able to get on the Formula SAE team because of his practical experience (building and blowing up cars). He called today high (emotionaly ). He spent 8 hours with team doing fuel maps, TIG welding and making parts on a lathe. He is friggin on cloud nine as I am.
He said he found what he wants to do with his life. He is majoring in Profesional and Technical Writing and wants to write for a car magazine or host something like Fifth Gear.
If I could only go back in time.... |
