Tech Forum : Bonnet fixing

Post nr. 105	This may sound daft but, I cannot get my boonet back on and to shut properly. It is as if the bonnet is about 3 inches too far back, has anyone got some photo's of their bonnet/hood fixing system at the front where the bar runs across, so that I can align it properly. Thanks in advance. John

Post nr. 9	I dont know what year our car is but on my 1983 I cannot see any adjustment. There appears to be holes that are round, not oblong, as if there is only one position. Maybe the latch needs adjustment. Check my gallery as I will upload a couple engine photos, though I dont know if the will help.

Post nr. 1017	They are adjustable at the hinge. It is fussy frustrating work.
