seldom do bargins come along.
I had to get a muffler for my sons e30 325. The bmw ones are a fortune as are the branded aftermarket. Tried one of those ebay ones from china (probably). Installed it and expected to sound like crap or like a ricer fart can.
I was very surprised. Sounds absolutely fantastic. Burbely at idle, quiet at cruise and wonderful on moderate to heavy gas.
Takes a little fabricating to get it installed but very much worth the effort. Don't know what it would sound like on a four cylinder but on the m20 it's perfect.
Absolutely no affiliation.

that's pretty sweet. I wish I could find one that fits my e34 decently and is nice and quiet. it's my roadtrip car!
I'll have to keep these in mind for future VW projects where I need a little muffler.

I'm concerned it won't last long, but crap for 20 bucks and 20 bucks shipped you could through 6 of um for what it costs to buy a remus muffler. |

I think it is too much trouble to go modify and change every couple of years. Used ANSAs once and it did not last very long, less then 3 years before holes started appearing. Decided to pay for the Original BMWs am still using it - wonder who makes them?? |
