Tech Forum : Chrome trim removal

Post nr. 1217	What is a good way to remove the chrome trim that goes around the A to C pillars? I got the one off the doors off easily, but that strip that goes on the seam that joins the pillars to the roof is hard to take off. I dont want to damage it.

Post nr. 2	Above the door section or the flat with the roof section you just carefully pry from the roof towards the ground. Then on the part where it slopes down along the windsheild it slides off by pulling upward. It is fairly easy if you are patient, also I have found that taking a heat gun to parts like this on these cars makes them come off much easier, as it appears everything is glued on.
