How do I take off my front bumper, I imagine i need to take off the front lower spoiler(valance?) but i cant even figure out how to get that off, all i see are the bolts on either side of the car bolting the valance to the fenders.
RIght now my bumper is really loose and i need to get it off to adjust it!
thanks! |

Federalized bumpers? If so, you'll have to remove the rubber "accordions" from the sides and then just unbolt the shocks from the bumper or from the inner fender inside the engine bay in case you want to remove the shocks too. I don't remember it taking me more than 20 minutes all told even with Sawzalling a couple rusted bolts off the rubber baffells. As far as I know you should not have to remove the valance.

turns out, they were nasty federalized, welded in at almost every oportunity, with a big metal tube underneath and big holes cut into the front end, it looks like euro bumpers, but underneath just nastiness |

Unbolt them and get some new ones, you can also use a sawzall. |
