Sorry to be a post whore, I just have a question, As I can't really find any bodykit's for the E21, There's a couple but there sorta a bit to plain for me,(Extremest & Perfectionist here...lol) I was wondering if we can adapt E30 Kit's to our car's with-out too much fabrication and trouble?? There is alot more aftermarket support for the E30 than for the E21.

Dont even think about putting a bodykit on an e21...THEY ARE ALL UGLY!!! If you plan to modify your e21 that way, stick to original front bars ie Alpina/BBS it will be worth much more that way and not take away the classic apeal that is the E21.

...in my opinion

I recall someone in Euro used the front and rear bumpers of the E36 and fitted them on the E21 as a body kit. Understand there is little or no mods required.

The only one worth fitting is the Group 5 touring car kit, good luck finding one!

I think gently flared fenders and a bbs front spoiler would be more asthetically pleasing than the majority of aftermarket kits.

Look for my boss's white 315/2.5i in the cars section- it has kamei skirts and square front headlights and pretty much doesn't look like an E21 anymore. It's definately not the look I'm into.

none right now :(
I personally hate the square lights on E21's but I agree the Groupe 5 aero package is by far the best in my opinion

I like the primered kit pieces, Is there anyway you would want to make a few kit's up and sell them??? I'd run one on my 323i, but i dont want the mold's just a kit...I'm sure you'd beable to palm some flare and front valance kit's off here pretty easily.....think $$$, if you decide to do it let me know how much your looking for per kit.....Very intrested......

Hi

James email sent

I have already done one run of the group 2 kit it works out (£ sterling)

arches (£250)
front spoiler (£250)
Boot skin with spoiler (£150)
Group 5 roof spoler (150)

I can do wings & doors in GRP

I am working on a commplete group 5 kit inc. grp doors, perspex windows etc. it will porbabaly work out at 3k

As currently I have to pay retial to get these made plus the cost of buying the orginal parts and the cost of making the moulds so it is not a cheap hobby the I coudl of bought an e30 M3 for the price of the orginal group 5 parts

Jason

hey jason, few questions regarding the group5 bodykit

[img=http://img234.imageshack.us/img234/6688/bmw320gruppe57998bdo4il4.th.jpg][img=http://img71.imageshack.us/img71/3751/img0964qn7.th.jpg]

A) you may notice the panels you have are different in this area, do you have any pic of your panels mounted on a car?

do you have this part of the kit also?

C) when you say "Boot skin with spoiler" do you mean this part?

Is there anyway you could 'mock' fit them to your car and take pics?? Maybe not the back (you could get someone to hold it) but the front would go on without screw's?? That would be ALOT of help, Thank-you

mmm just thinking how wild it could be to have such a body kit on a street car

i mean the fron spoiler may need to be shortened. but the rest would be really nice
