Post nr. 504	Thank you very much, that's very very useful to me! I've been looking for these kind of stock ignition values throughout the engine speed/load range for ages. I have alot of values for more modern 24 valve engines such as the 328i M52 etc etc. Which spec M20 do you have? An early 9.7:1 CR a 9.4:1 CR or a later 8.8:1 CR? I'm thinking of buying a system to generate similar maps for my Porsche 993

Post nr. 505	Please check your email! I've sent maps for the 328i (single intake VANOS version) and 330i M54. The maps are from measured dyno data rather than from vehicle and are mapped to BMEP vs engine speed, but I've also included a data set with manifold pressure data in BMEP (effective mitteldruck) vs rpm but measured in mbar rather than KPa. Please send me the M20 data in tabulated form to the email address I used to send you my stuff!! Just visually scanning your maps confirms alot of theories I had about the M20s combustion system and losses across the Motronic Air flow sensor!
