I'm starting to become somewhat of a post whore, I appoligise for this .....Anyway the question is: What type of coil-over's do we fit into our car's?? As I cannot find a listing for E21 BMW's anywhere.....I was thinking CIVIC???But I'm unsure...If you've put coil-over's in your E21 what make/model did you put in??? Was there any modifacation's needed to get them in??? Real answer's would be good, guess's aren't...

none right now :(
Most people have fabricated coil overs for thier E21's. There are several posts on here about how to go about doing so. Basically you cut 2" out of the middle of the strut housing and reweld the top threaded portion back on and weld on a threaded sleeve over the housing. I believe a VW rabbit strut insert is the right length for the shortened strut. There are however several companies that make coil overs for E21's such as LEDA

We pay anywhere from AUS$1,600-2,$400 for all four. How many are you talking about 2 or all 4, If it's all four that's not bad......If 2, they would have to be pretty damn good....
