Quoting from Jereons BMW site it says:

Motorsport kit consisting of deep front spoiler (painted), black rubber trunklid spoiler with ///M badge, black or grey striping all round, reflector plate in between the taillights and painted side mirrors. Advised to be combined with sports suspension and alloys. No mods to engine & suspension.

i cud be wrong

How about this Motorsport front spoiler? In what case E21 came out with it?

This thread doesn't answer my question! It makes another bunch of questions! Here in europe we used to think of these as Motorsport spoilers. Still, many BMW-loving ppl dont know a sh** about such classics like E21! I dont count myself to them, but still need to clear some contradictions!

If the shipping wouldn't such a hassle, I could find one or two here in Latvia!

no such thing as a M spoiler. They dont make M cars in E21's.

The parts are motorsport, front and rear spoilers, plus suspension bits, not M parts. There is not, and never has been an M vehicle in an E21 chassis.

What will really get you confused is that hartge run a front spoiler that is very similar, difference being the chrome bumper fits over it The motorsport one doesnt, it covers the area and has a rubber strip that runs along it. The bottom areas of both spoilers are almost identical.

Hartge one

Motorsport one

I cant remember who it is that makes reproductions of the motorsport ones, i keep thinking bmpd but it doesnt sound right, maybe it was korman.

The
motorsport front spoiler was aviable for any e21 as an option.

But there may not off been an M car but you could buy the Group 2 & group 5 cars and parts from BMW motorsport

from what i can understand a limited amount of 323i's came into australia with M parts (front and rear spoiler and the other small exterior changes) to improve the image of BMW as a touring car. it is not however a true M series althou i can wish.

here is a brochure of this model but it has a different front spoiler on the top pic to what should be there. anyone speak this language??

Hasnt had vents cut in it, thats how they come, normaly people just dont get down low enough to see them as the angle of the ribs hides them quite well.
