Konig is now making a mini-lite knock off that will fit an e21. Opinions? I've never seen one with them on. |

Nice! I am a big fan of minilite alloys but i think they have to be on the right car. TBH i'm not sure if the e21 is the right car? Just one guys opinion.

They're ok on E21s, IMO more suited to 2002s though... |

Minilite knockoffs have been available for awhile. Here's another members car with Panasports:

Pack racing products have them in a variety of sizes, offsets, and finishes:
http://www.packracingproducts.com/acatalog/Pack_Racing_Products_Superlite_Street_Wheels_2.html
I'm not affiliated, I just have the website saved and I keep going back to try to decide how they would look on my car.

AFAIK they come in graphite, polished or the combo, as pictured. They might look decent on a Henna car. A bonus is they weigh less than 14lb.
I'm having absolutly no luck finding the wheels I want so a compromise to something like this may tide me over until the BBS's I want pop up. |

I DO like the look of the graphite/polished combo on a Henna car:

I just wish they were 15's.

BTW my opinion on minilites: There are 3 wheels that should be on an E21:
15x7 Alpina's, 15x7 Basketweaves and 15x7 MINILITES! I may put minilites on my car, but i'll cross that bridge when i get to it. |

i think 14 inches are a good compromise. Use to run 15x71/2 with 205/50's on the 320/6........... wheels a bit too big |

What about Hartge Wheels? not quite as nice as the Alpina ones, but pretty tasty none the less.
And MiM made some nice ones, I have them on my e21 (15x7) and they look pretty good I think |

I finally heard from the Konig rep. That particualr style is only out there with either 0 or 40 offsets so they can be scratched from the list. |

There's a group buy going on for a Panasport-style wheel on the 2002FAQ board. Those should fit e21's.

I am seriously in the market for some minilites after an accident i had a few weeks ago which damaged 1 of my 13"alpina's and left me with the spare which must have been damaged by a previous owner, its bashed up and doesn't hold air very well
Can i get some opinions as to what the best combo for size is? I dont have a lot of money so buy once buy right, i dont want to stuff this up...I've been told 15x7 on the back and 15x6 on the front. Dont know what tyre size i should get though |

my understanding about the staggered set is to promot more understeer to counterbalance some natural oversteer, esp w/ the higher-powered e21s. Personally, if I were in your situation, I'd stick to 15x7 all around. It will make rotating tires and spares less of a headache, too. Also, if you ever need to replace a front, it will probably be eaier to find another 15x7 than 15x6. Also, you can run 205 in front and 225 (or maybe 215) rears to get the same staggered effect. good luck! |

Oh.. I forgot to add the disclaimer that I have not personally tried those sizes and have no experience w/ either. I have a set of 15x7 but have never installed them, and my car is NOT a high powered e21. I just wanted to get that out there as you might consider getting input from those in-the-know... I was merely stating opinion and conjecture if I were in your situation and what my personal thought processes would be.
And no, I'm not a lawyer.... P |

lol don't worry dude, i dont drive her that hard so i'm not going to notice the difference in a couple of cm on the front and back. any difference i notice will be an improvement on the old 13" originals i had on her. and besides for a predominate road car its best to stay even all around... |
