Does anyone know if the strut housing is the same on the both the 230/6 and 323i?

From what I understand.....everything is the same.......springs, struts, housings....and everything else except the rear discs. |

it appears that there are 2 strut housings for the 6 cyls. |

It depends on the car, you can have either (so they share the same struts or they have the smaller ones), wont really be able to tell until you look at them.
Rears are the same no matter what. |

323's have a 51mm insert, the 320's have a 45mm insert. But 320's with the M-Technic suspension have 51mm inserts.
