OK Guys, I would like to know if anyone has this suspension set up:

Fr: Bilstein Sports(HD) with 1 inch lowered springs.
RR: Boge TurboGas with 1 inch lowered springs.

Will this work or are there some things that I should be concerned about?

Any handling issues?

ETC

Is there a specific reason for mixing the soft rear with the firm front?

Won't that exacerbate the e21s handling quirks?

Main reason is that I can't get Bilsteins for the rear hence the proposed combination.

Last I heard the Bils for the rear were still available.

not avaliable here. Need to order and event then, don't know when it will arrive.

I have checked buying from Euro or US and the postage cost almost twice the cost of the dampers.......

By handling quirks, do you mean tail happy? If so, then probably not. To increase oversteer, stiffen the rear, to increase understeer, stiffen the front.
