Does anyone know a good chrome shop? |

Try aardvark- they send off 2002 bumpers and talk about a really high quality process. They probably would know who to call.

Mayan - you got conections in Mexico. Use them as that is where the good cheap plating is done now. No enviro issues to deal with. |

I looked into it in Mexico. Really, really, really poor quality and not that good of a price.

CJ aka blitzed on bimmerforums has chromed a few of my parts for me. Try him.
I got quoted $900 each to rechrome which is more than the bumpers themselves.
So I took the best parts of 3 different front bumpers.my orginal front bumper, a brand new center section and a used front bumper..and had them sandblasted and tin nocked, and zinc oxcide primed. I also had my rear bumpers sandblasted and color matched. 
It came out awesome and far less than what it would of cost to rechrome them.
Plus my 323i is orange and chrome bumpers are too big a contrast IMO. |
