A 1985 535i (my cousin's) was stolen out of my backyard this past week- it looked almost as though it was hauled away by a tow truck from the marks on the ground. The car was red with a tan interior. It had Hartge 16" wheels, bilsteins and sport springs, a front strut brace in the trunk, and an E32 head (with e28 manifold). There was one hartge wheel cap and three with BMW emblems. The car also had been converted to euro bumpers but was hit in the right rear, pushing the rear quarter into the right rear door. The car is labeled as an automatic but had been converted to a 5 speed. It has terrible piston slap but was still pretty stout when it was last driven.
I'd be happy to disclose the VIN if needed. Please keep an eye out for these parts- we'd love to find the car as it's supposed to be a donor for a very vanilla greymarket 525i. If you find or see anything suspicious please let me know!
Here's a link to some pictures of the car from the accident that took it out of commission last year:

A pic from when we picked up the car in Dallas:
thanks!
