Hey guys, what do you think of these wheels? Theyre 15x6.5 inch. They pretty modern, not sure how they would look on an E21, but i think they have potential. Especially with the shadow centres on a hennarot car !

They look....

invisible? They'd look strange with tires on them.

i think you have very little chance of getting them fitted to an e21 legally.

Why? Theyre only 15 inch wheels, and 6.5 inches wide. Nothing new really.

by the look of it, I would say that wheel has too much offset. I'm not sure what the practical limit is for spacer width... Do you know the actual offset?

Yeah, the offset is 40mm for this particular wheel, but it is available in different offsets, ive just got to find out. Are 25mm spacers still safe?

I think this is what Madhatter was referring to. I'm pretty sure that more than 5mm of spacer is illegal to use on-road in Australia, if it's allowed at all. You can get up to 30mm hubcentric spacers, but as far as I know, they are not legal for road use. Maximum offset for the E21 is ET20, but it would be better around ET15.

Ok. Hopefully they have them in a different offset then. Well I'll just have to keep looking, but for the while I might be getting a set of 13x6 BBS MAhle wheels . But ultimately i want 15s, ill just have to keep looking.

Because they are cheap late model fwd style wheels which have large offsets. Spacers are illegal in pretty much all states.

You probably wont find them in a lower offset, thats the problem with most 4x100 wheels being produced today, usually only smaller fwd cars which run this pattern now so they are designed to suit.
