Does anyone have experience rebuilding their rear differential. I'm taking a class and want to do mine as a project, its a spare. I have access to people who are experienced, so I'm not worried about the set up procedure, I'm sure we can get it.
I'm mostly curious about parts sourcing, RealOEM has a lot of missing numbers.
Also, I'm wondering if anyone knows how to decode the stampings on the end of the pinion gear.

I don't really know alot about re-building diff's as I've never done it, I would do it but I have no need ATM. But I can solve one of your other problem's (hopfully) This here is a link to a web page that's like realOEM on steriod's.....Bigger picture's, more part number's and I think it is more specific then realOEM. Hope it help's.

Anybody knows about gear change? My 3.91 LSD needs different gear ratio (3.45). So I've got one lying around. Can I switch gears from non-LSD to LSD diff or there is differences? |
