hey man, there are some things you can do, I don't know how to do them, but Ken Danielson does, I saw in a post of his when i was researching a while back a way to rebuild it putting in washers to remove play. You can still buy indivudal parts. I have 3 distributors right now, one in great shape out of the car, one kindof messed up frozen to the block that im waiting for more time to get out, and one in unknown condition. When i get the one out of my block that Ive got in there ill send you a working one or one that you can rebuild yourself and then have on hand to install for about what i paid for it. Let me know what you think and good luck.
Also, ken, if you read this, have you ever had to deal with a dist frozen in the block?
Best for all
