Hi,
I have had to remove the trunk seal to deal with so minor rust issues and was wondering what I should use to to reattach it that will also stop any water from sitting between the body and the seal? Any advice would be a great help.
Cheers,
Brent..... |

I have to do this as well, also due to rust repair's.....My advise would to go and talk to the people that put your windscreen in and get some of that really nice(IT'SA BITCH!!!) black glue they use to put your windscreen in......From what it looked like, when I pulled mine of (Very very hard to get off perfect) the stuff they use to hold it there is the same stuff.......If not and your worried about the 'strength' of that(VERY sticky) just go and get some rubberised glue that set's similar to the original adhesive from your local Bunning's (Hardware Store) if in Australia etc..........
Or you could just throw some money away and go talk to BMW....... |

If you want sticky black stuff, sikaflex is what you want. |
