Title says it all, do thinner tires make steering easier while parked? |

Theoretically, yes. In my personal experience, also yes. But, the difference was so little, it was well worth the wider tires (better driving traction).
(PS: did you check you IMS?) |

I used to have 7 x 13 wheels running 205 tyres on a standard steering wheel. I can tell you that after parking the car a few times I did not need to go to the gym. I have now change the wheels to 8 x 14's running 195 tyres and it feels like I have fitted power steering. |

agreed! My current 215's feel the same as the previous set of 205's and extremely similar to stock 185's.
Also, tire pressures play a big role in how easier/harder steering is from a standstill. |

Im in tegucigalpa right now, and there is more often a standstill than driving, i feel i drive 15 minutes, and 9 of them are stoped making a turn standing still. Thinner tires and higher pressure it is, thanks all! |

tyre design also makes a difference...given the same size specs. |
