OK....had to take an emergency measure. My lease on the daily driver is up, and I have used up all the miles. I still need chrome bumpers and interior parts.........
So......I found a nice 323i to be the daily driver, and be the doner for some parts. I figure it will save me a bunch on extra miles over the limit on the lease.......and a cartload on extending that extreme insurance BMW requires for leases in FL.
I will sell the doner when I am done with the Baur...... |

Thats the only bad news. It sucks. Supposedly it works......but not for Miami type summers.
Other than that, I will save a lot of time as it has great dash parts that are hard to find on ebay like the vents, the panel under the steering, and the glove compartment. The door trim is also in prestine condition.

What year is the donor and Baur? That's the old style dash isn't it?
BTW, I got an email from Mobile Tradition telling me they will be doing a run of some NLA trim pieces in the future. No date was given but it looks as if rain gutters and other stuff is going to become availible at some point. |

I have 4 or 5 of those push button switches with different color buttons. I believe that all of the colored ones light up when engaged. One of these days, after the move, I am going to clear oout some of my parts stash. |
