Hey guys,
Thanks for the comments. The wheels are Hardy and Beck's. They're a 3 piece. The front wheels are 8.25" and rear are 8.5" I have the offsets written down somewhere.... on a greasy piece of paper.
The fenders are flared as well so it's not exactly representative of how those wheels would look on a standard e21.
Best,

Oh yeah, and the suspension is 323i stuff with ground control coilovers. Previous to that it was Dinan suspension, which I eventually put back on.
However I may go back to the ground control... the reason for moving away from it was that it was noisy. But at this rate I preferred the ride + noise to the current ride. But not enough to spend much money doing the swap.

History of the car is that it was a Dinan project in 1980. Roommate of one of their tech/mechanics spent a boatload getting it built there and then 15 years later or so it ended up on a used car lot where I picked it up (for way too much $$ )
The flares are supposedly welded on custom, but they feel like fiberglass, and/or they are very thin metal with a lot of thick paint on it.
