Hi Guys,
Any of you with your car currently on the lift or headed to the lift... Could someone snap a couple of photos of the undercarriage? I'm wanting something to fuel my imagination about what the possibilities are for exhaust systems.
Thanks in advance,

Not many. the centrail vein that houses the tranny and drive shaft needs to be used. Other than that the floorpans reach down to the bottom surface and so does the gas tank. You really only have one way to go............IMHO
Also.....you have the diff and rear swing arms to contend with ..... so you need to deal with those too.
Then you have the spare tire drum that reaches very far down.....so you have to navigate around that once you clear the diff.
You really only have the option of going down the center and then splitting into a "Y" when you get to the spare tire drum. Anything else will be tragically exposed to the first speedbump you transverse. :O |

Get runflats and a AAA membership, then cut out and patch the spare drum!
I'm kidding of course. I LIKE my full spare. |

I don't have a spare.
Anyway, I have some exhaust leak that exposes itself when I hit bumps in the road. I'm thinking of replacing the exhaust system and going to a dual exhaust in the rear. I just love how that looks.... I don't know where that picture is floating around the net of the black e21 with alpinas and dual exhaust.
Best,
