Nice car, best of luck with the sale. Would you mind sharing information about your front strut tower brace? It looks identical to mine and i need a replacement. If you have any ideas or leads on obtaining one, or obtaining just the strut mounts (my cross bar is fine) please let me know. I greatly appreciate it, in advance.

what would be fantastic is if someone has one of those Hartge bars and can tell me it's vertical clearance from base to underside of strut bar.
The M30 motor comes up pretty high, I'm not sure if it's higher than the 323i motor though...
Anyone feel confident that the 323i strut bar would fit over an M30?
EDIT: to give an idea the allen bolts on my strut bar were shaved so that they wouldn't bump the hood when it closed.

Bruce...have you tried the rear strut bar on the Baur? Will it allow for the targa top? |

Sorry for not answering earlier. Was on bike trip for the last few days.
Strut brace might be the hartge one.
The car already came with that brace.
But obiously looks same as the hartge one.
Sport Drive
Yes it is the dogled drive with 1st down left..

Eric, I put the Jack close to the back wall, or,,,,on the other side of where the License plate would be in a US stockcar. or, closest to the rear, on the bottom. Sorry, i hope i explained that well. It fits there if you do it right and then you can bolt it down.
