I am putting the car back together and I am having trouble with the nose panel. It seems that the AC Condenser fan is in the way of the nose panel.
To my knowledge I got the right nose panel for a 1982 E21. What could be the problem? |

Mayan, is the fan the correct unit for the car?
When you say it's in the way of the nose panel, what's hitting it? There's a lot of space in front of the rad.

They simply sent me the wrong nose panel. Nothing would make it fit. The structural member that goes horizontally below the radiator hits too.....not just the fan.
I guess there are some nose panels that dont fit.
I guess there is a pre and post facelift difference |

Did you have to replace the entire front end of the car? Do you have any pics as to what you're referring to? In the series of pics you have posted elsewhere it all looks to be as it should. |

No, I just have to replace the nose panel that they gave me. I had replaced it since mine was dented and rusted. They gave me the one with the two big openings................the one that works is the one with the two center slits.
They are totally different. |
