So I finally turned in the X5. No more payments. No more mommy car.

I got a 323i 1978 on eBay and it is in excellent shape.

It had been a while since I went out joyriding......just driving to listen to music and the engine roar.

I got the car cause I was over my miles on the x5 lease......and didnt have the Baur finished. I had intended on selling it afterwards, but man am I having fun with it.

I have been driving the car for two months and I have literally been stopped 9 times already. I really should stop paying attention to people waving me down in Miami though......

Someone asked me to roll down my window today and asked me if I was selling it. He insisted on getting my telephone number.

This NEVER happened driving the X5. Everyone gives looks at the car.

Ah yes. it is indeed a nice clean looking example. By clean, I refer not only to the amount of dirt, but by the lack of modification/molestation. My envy flows freely...

Yes, it is!

It seems the right type of gas significantly affects our cars. I feel a sizeable difference from one fillup to the other.

What brand of gas - I take it you mean super unleaded?

Congrads on a great find.
Enjoy, and I
Hope you have an Alarm for it...

The car performs significantly better with BP Super Unleades than with any other brand.

Its an enclosed garage. No one pays attention to alarms in Miami.

This is a body swap. I am sure the previous owner upgraded.

I can confirm that in South Florida the BP Premium makes the car respond smoother and stronger. Dont ask me why...and dont bother trying it yourself cause gas mixes are localized.

Any insight on what makes one better than the other?
