I'm back. E30 rear mount turbo completly finished and race tested.
Back to the e21 v8.
I've changed my mind on manual steering and will be selling my manual "quick rack" shortly ($250).
I put a Z3 power rack in the e30 (2.7 turns lock to lock) and it was very easy and the results were great. Thinking about putting one in the e21. If it fit in the e30 would it fit in the e21?
Thanks

Hi Pete
The e21rack is behind the hub, the e30 is in front.IF you can get a RHD rack and turn it around maybe.
But every e30 owner here wants a z3rack.

Hi Jason, What do you mean by "behind the hub"?
Both the e21 and e30 are "rear steer". I'm confused. (not unusal). I have the rack on it way.
$250 from Vines.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Pete
David Mac's e21 steering behind the subframe and hub centre
random e30 pic with rack infront of the subframe and hubs
swap them over and back to front steering
