I just put in a new Dist in my 323i, the old one was frozen in and some clips had broken off. Now the idle is a little high even adjusting the idle screw all the way to the bottom. Mechanic thinks its the idle control valve, could this be? |

sounds like you have an air leak somewhere...try clamping off hoses or spraying for leaks with green brakleen or something.

First thing I'd check is your timing. Did you set it correctly? Sounds like you're a little too far advanced. |
