Tech Forum : Control arm??

Member Post nr. 16 Adelaide, Australia bmw 323i	hi guys and maybe gals.... i'm trying to get hold of left hand front control arm, my ball joints gone and i'm getting assholed and pretty much nothings out there. wondering if a) anyone has a spare they wnat to sell or get rid of, b) are there any tech tricks or aftermarket parts i haven't heard of. it's 81 car, with the steel swaybar bushes. thanks

Member Post nr. 605 australia 1979 323i	hi yabbi Just checked the shed... I have a virtually new right one, and a damaged left one. Basically I fitted them to my car, and then had a crash about a month later. I don't know if you can remove the ball joint from the arm, but the damaged left arm has a new one - just the arm is bent. I also have a set of new bushes for one side. Let me know if you're keen... I'm in Adelaide. Send me a PM... I have plenty of other bits, so if you're after anything else, I may be able to help out.
