If i took out the driver highbeam and conected the airbox through acordian tubing to the hole there? what gains should i expect if any? |

Looks good... it will suck cold air, now just add a K&N panel filter in the stock air box, and you should see some gains (although they'll be small, you should initially be able to notice them).
I run a K&N pod on my car, although it is not in a cold air box... I thought that seeing as the stock they pull air from behind the radiator, that sucking in warm engine bay air wouldn't hurt. The car was slightly gruntier in the mid range, although I just got used to it after a couple of days of driving!
Cold air should be an improvement for sure. |

As you can see from this pic:
I have done the same. I just piped the cold air up to me filter on my carb.
Not sure if it did anything but it did look cool.
Just be warned I have been told by about a million peolple that one of my headlights is'nt working.
I think my next stage will be taking all this out and going for a 316 style grill and single headlight, If I can find one. |
