Post nr. 7	Took the seats out of my car yesterday, to clean all the carpets, and found both front seat mounts were cracked. Is this a common problem, and whats the best fix.

Post nr. 137	Yes it's metal, mine were cracked on my 320i on the driver side at the rear. You are going to have to weld it up. Be sure to pull the carpet first to avoid any unwanted fires!
