Junior Member Post nr. 7 Uki NSW Australia BMW E21 320/4	Took the seats out of my car yesterday, to clean all the carpets, and found both front seat mounts were cracked. Is this a common problem, and whats the best fix.

Member Post nr. 137 Washington, USA 1977 320i, 1981 323i, 1991 325ic, 2000 328i	Yes it's metal, mine were cracked on my 320i on the driver side at the rear. You are going to have to weld it up. Be sure to pull the carpet first to avoid any unwanted fires!
