Hi all,
So, I had a aux air valve that was stuck out, so i put a key in the line.(search for green valve on this site, same thing)

Then i had a mechanic tune the car to pass smog.

Before i even tested the car after he adjusted it and it passed, i put a new aux air valve in the car.

Now it seems to have no cold start function. I start the car, and i have to idle it at 1400 for a minute or so before it sits and stays at an idle of 1100.

I remember before i took the key off the line that it was set somewhere in the middle of open and closed. I think they tuned it with it half opened, but even still i feel i would see some kind of increase in idle when starting up if the cold start system was functioning.

1) I think this idle is too high, shouldn't it be 900?

2) What did they disconnect to take away the cold start? or did it just by chance break at this convinient point of time, and if so, what should i check, change first?

thanks!
