A couple of fan blades broke in the motor installation......how hard is it to replace the plastic fan blades? Will I need to take off the radiator?

Easy. - A pain, but easy. 20 min tops

No, radiator can stay on

It is one reverse threaded 32mm bolt that hold the fan on in the center. This removes the fan and the fan clutch at the same time.

You need a Thin 32mm spanner wrench for removing Fan Clutch

Bav Auto sells one for $34.95 which fits perfect. But a bit pricy. -It is a really tight fit though so make sure you get a thin long wrench,,,,,,

They also sell another expensive too for holding the fan in place. if you hit the wrench with a hammer though you can make it budge pretty easy without this tool.

I changed the fan clutch a while back like 4 times,,,,,,,,

The clutch is fine. I just need to replace the blades. Can I leave the fan clutch in by taking out those 4 to 5 bolts from the back?

I wouldnt recomend it man,

if you can make it work great!}

I think its much easier to take off the whole unit and then take off the fan, really it only takes 20min if you have the wrench. If you dont mind taking off the radiator that would probably give you enough space to leave on the whole unit and just remove the fan, but i dont rememeber from which direction the bolts thread in.

luck

Go to a bicycle shop for the thin 32 wrench. $12.
