Hi again everyone although i visit the site to see how everyone is getting on, ive not posted for a long time now...sorry.
New project car and family corncerns, you know the score!
Anyway ive tried to use the 323 as my daily drive this summer and over the past couple of weeks had cold stating problems which have escalated into the car just firing for a couple of seconds then dying.I have a feeling its the fuel pump or pressure chamber due to the smell of fuel coming from them but due to the high cost of new parts i dont want to be throwing money at the job in the hope it will fix the problem.
Any ideas or past experiences ?

Where has the e21 world gone ??
I posted this over a month ago and its still on the home page top threads with no replies!!
I remember posting threads that disapeared with hours.
Any way sorted the none starter, loss of fuel pressure, new pump and filter did the job. |

Could be the ignition switch if its not a fuel problem. THe "turns on for a few seconds then turns off" is exactly what mine did when the starter wire was burned into the ignition wire on the ignition switch - replaced with aftermarket switch and everythign is fine.
any electrical problems? |
