What do you do about insurance after you put a lot of money into your car? Almost every single insurance company......called at least 18 of the top ones......insist on insuring only on the Kelly Blue Blook value. Only one of the majors, Progressive, will insure on an "agreed value" or "stated value".
NONE of the classic car insurers want anything to do with daily drivers, or cars that are not kept in a private and locked garage......so if you live in an apartment building and own only one car...you cant use this insurance.
Stated value and agreed vlaue insurance is pretty expensive......at least in Florida.

JJ,
Thats because
a.) you have the car in a private and locked garage.......I have mine in the garage of an apartment building.
b.) you have a daily driver other than your E21. All of these collector's car insurance insist that you only drive it to meets, shows, and to the shop. |

Yep. I have two other cars, so my 323i is not a daily driver.
I think its better that way, cause anything can happen to it.
I will send you a copy of the appraisal.
I Have Grundy. |
