Member Post nr. 326 California 323i 1982	Timing Question for the m20 What is the "Z mark" the Z, or the line next to the Z? Ignition timing question: There is a line next to the letter Z Now Ive been told that the "Z-Mark" is 22 degrees btdc- exactly where i want it to be. However, does this mean the Z, or does this mean the little line next to the Z?
