Staff Post nr. 7 SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0 1981 323i, 1988 545is, 1997 528i	On the one pic where they are side by side the 323i looks more rounded than the 320/6. Is it just me or was it what I have been thinking all along that BMW did change the lines on the e21 hoods?

What makes the 323i look different though is the BBS spoiler and the little crush on the front right corner (from an accident at least two years ago, probably by the owner who had the car before the person I bought it from). Other than that they are visually the same. The only external difference that I can think of is that the pre-1980 models had crome mirrors while later models had plastic mirrors. The 320/6 has one mirror, the 323i has two.
