I had a similar sunroof. I decided to get rid of it, and replaced the entire roof skin with one imported from germany. My car now has the sunrrof found on the later models.
Your car looks like it could be very nice with some tlc.

With those square lights it kinda looks like a Bristol Beaufighter, I have been trying to get a picture of one of those to post and compare.

Joe, I'm planning to replace the sunroof with a bigger one, also because of the rust allaround it, as you can see http://yety.rdscj.ro/kalutzu.htm ...and what's "tlc" ? (my English is not that good  )
Konrad, I know that many people don't like the square lights, but I was very happy when I bought the car with those, as I like'em very much... my father's E21 had (and still has) also square lights... finally, methinks, it's just a matter of taste right ?

I have no idea if those are aftermarkets or not (although I suppose they are) I bought the car like that and I really like the way it looks My father's 316 E21 has also square headlights. |
