Schrick CamshaftsREF 056 01 720-00cam lift : 7.0mm Valve lift : 11.0mm Duration CRA In/Ex Peak timing : 272/272/111 valve timing CRA IO-IC-EO-EC : 25-67-67-25 valve lift at TDC I/E (mm) : 1.6 valve clearance I/E (mm) : 0.25/0.25 Comment: A 272 should idle pretty well and have a resonable power gain. REF 056 01 840-00 cam lift : 7.3mm/7.0mm Valve lift : 11.4mm/11.0mm Duration CRA In/Ex Peak timing : 284/272/110 valve timing CRA IO-IC-EO-EC : 32-72-66-26 valve lift at TDC I/E (mm) : 2.2/1.7 valve clearance I/E (mm) : 0.25/0.25 Comment: A split duration with 284 intake and 272 exhaust. I have never heard of this one, I think I'd stay away from it. REF 056 01 880-00 cam lift : 7.3mm Valve lift : 11.4mm Duration CRA In/Ex Peak timing : 288/288/110 valve timing CRA IO-IC-EO-EC : 34-74-74-34 valve lift at TDC I/E (mm) : 2.8 valve clearance I/E (mm) : 0.25/0.25 Comment: A 288, should have a lope at idle (may give you problems with ac in traffic) and big power gains. 20-25HP maybe if everything is in good shape. This would be my choice. REF 056 01 040-00 cam lift : 7.7mm Valve lift : 12.2mm Duration CRA In/Ex Peak timing : 304/304/105 valve timing CRA IO-IC-EO-EC : 47-77-77-47 valve lift at TDC I/E (mm) : 4.0 valve clearance I/E (mm) : 0.25/0.25 Comment: A 304, a race cam, choppy idle if at all with injection. Big power gains, but you need a bottomend that will stay together to around 8000. Power starts around 4-4500 if memory serves. Sounds like fun, but would hardly be streetable. Would require triple sidedrafts, or programable injection to run right. I'd stay with a 288. I also think this one may be no longer available. |
